Constraining possible $\gamma$-ray burst emission from GW230529 using Swift-BAT and Fermi-GBM

GW230529是LIGO-Virgo-KAGRA合作首次检测到的最低质量间隙(3-5MM_{\odot})成分至少处于置信区间内的致密二进制合并事件。如果将其解释为中子星-黑洞合并,则该事件具有迄今为止最对称的质量比,因而有较高概率产生电磁(EM)辐射。然而,尚未报告任何电磁信号。在合并时刻t0t_0,Swift-BAT和Fermi-GBM共同覆盖了100%的天空。我们在时间窗口[t020s,t0+20s][t_0-20 \text{s},t_0+20 \text{s}]内进行了针对性搜索,报告Swift-BAT和Fermi-GBM仪器未检测到任何信号。结合位置相关的γ\gamma-射线通量上限与引力波后验分布(包括距离、天空定位和二进制倾角),我们对可能在合并期间发射的喷流特征亮度和结构施加了约束。假设采用顶帽型喷流结构,排除了在置信度为90%时,喷流同时具有作轴化亮度1048\gtrsim 10^{48} erg s1^{-1}(于1 keV-10 MeV的全发射带)且喷流开口角15\gtrsim 15度的可能性。对喷流结构轮廓的其他假设也得出了类似的约束。排除 GRB 170817A后,本文推导的亮度上限低于迄今为止观察到的所有GRB亮度。
