通过观察磁性白矮星约束引力理论

摘要
在假设存在特定的扭转与电磁相互作用的非最小耦合后,引力场中会导致时空呈现双折射现象,使得来自扩展天体源的光线出现偏振衰减。我们利用磁性白矮星 RE J0317-853 的偏振数据,首次对该效应的关键耦合常数进行约束,给出 k^2 <22 m^2。
