连接时域社区与虚拟天文台

摘要
时域已被确定为未来十年最重要的天文研究领域之一。虚拟天文台处于前沿，拥有专门的工具和服务，能够促进时域数据的发现、传播和分析。这些工具和服务的范围从时间关键的天文暂现源的快速通知，到用最新建模结果注释长期变源。在本文中，我们将回顾这些领域的先前工作，并重点介绍VAO为支持时域科学所提供的能力。特别是，我们将关注与天文暂现源相关的异质（辅助）数据集合所涉及的问题，以及下一代巡天（如LSST和SKA）所需的时间序列表征和分类工具。
