摘要
局部星际磁场影响着日球层和周围的星际云团（CLIC）。对线偏振星光的测量提供了对贯穿 CLIC 的磁场的唯一检验。CLIC 磁场的偏振测量显示出多个局部磁结构，其中一个与星际边界探测器（IBEX）发现的高能中性原子“带”中心所追踪的磁场方向一致。CLIC 相对于局域静止标准的整体运动、磁场方向、Loop I 的几何中心以及从日球层延伸至北银极支方向的偏振尘埃桥之间的比较，都表明 CLIC 是 Loop I 超级气泡边缘区域的一部分。
