摘要
我们分析了在过去50年中，经济系统的复杂性在各国工业化进程起步阶段所起的决定性作用。基于最近引入的经济复杂性度量，我们对投入增长动态的分析揭示，更具差异化和更复杂的经济体在启动向工业化转型时面临更低的壁垒（以人均GDP计）。此外，将复杂性维度添加到工业化过程描述中，有助于使当前理论与实证发现相协调。
