星震学利用所谓的标度关系提供类太阳振荡恒星的基本性质（质量、半径和有效温度）。这些性质允许计算恒星的星震距离。我们将星震距离与最近发布的 Gaia 距离进行了比较，对象为 Y{\i}ld{\i}z 等人研究的 74 颗恒星。这两种距离之间有很好的一致性；对于其中 64 颗恒星，差异小于 10%。然而，如果使用光谱方法获得的有效温度，会看到系统性差异；Gaia 距离比星震距离大约 5%。
