在最近的一篇 Letter (astro-ph/9605001) 中，Cowsik 等人声称，对暗 Galactic halo 的自洽处理要求暗物质粒子的局部速度色散为 km~s 或更大，这是规范值为 270 km~s 的多出一倍以上。如果事实如此，将显著影响对重子与非重子暗物质探测的速率与特征。我们认为该工作不正确，可能是由于未考虑所有观察约束，以及模型被迫满足对 halo 密度的任意约束。
