近期使用中子实现了嵌套马赫-曾德尔干涉仪的实验[Phys. Rev. Lett. 111, 240402 (2013)][Phys. Rev. A 97, 052111 (2018)]。中子留下的微弱痕迹中提取了路径信息，为“粒子路径”提供了操作性含义。中子干涉实验的作者批评了光学实验作者所得的结论。我驳斥该批评，并论证中子干涉实验的结果实际上支持了嵌套马赫-曾德尔干涉仪中粒子过往的惊人图景。
