帕克斯脉冲星计时阵列观测期间共生发现四个快速射电暴

摘要
帕克斯脉冲星计时阵列(PPTA)项目使用帕克斯 64 米射电望远镜监测二十余颗毫秒脉冲星(MSP),以开展多种基础物理实验。自 2017 年 6 月起,我们在 MSP 观测期间开展了快速射电暴(FRB)的共生搜索。在此,我们报告发现四个 FRB(171209、180309、180311 和 180714)。所探测到的事件包括一个在帕克斯天文台探测到的信噪比最高的 FRB,其表现出不寻常的频谱特性。所有四个 FRB 均高度偏振。我们讨论了在帕克斯开展 FRB 共生搜索的未来前景。
