赫歇尔空间天文台观测下的彗星 C/2013 A1 (赛丁泉)

摘要
2013年3月31日，在日心距为6.48天文单位处，利用赫歇尔空间天文台的PACS光度计相机观测了彗星C/2013 A1（赛丁泉）的热辐射。该彗星明显处于活跃状态，其彗发可追踪至10角秒（即50000公里）的距离。对彗发径向强度剖面的分析给出了尘埃质量和尘埃产生率；导出的粒径分布特征表明热辐射中存在大颗粒的过量。我们估计其活动始于这些观测之前约6个月，当时的日心距为8天文单位。
