摘要

彗星 12P/Pons-Brooks 是一颗中等周期彗星（轨道周期约 71 年），可与 1P/Halley 相比。该彗星于 1812 年首次被观测到，之后在 1883 年和 1954 年再次被观测到。该彗星于 2020 年被重新发现，并将在 2024 年过近日点。我们报告了将该彗星与历史彗星 C/1385 U1 和 C/1457 A1 明确无误的证认；我们能够将这两次历史出现与 12P 联系起来。这一联系也得到了其外观与亮度历史描述的支持。此外，我们讨论了其他历史彗星与 12P 的可能关联，并确认公元 245 年观测到的一颗彗星为 12P/Pons-Brooks 可能最早的记录观测。
