光子云碰撞中的集体偏振交换

摘要
四个电磁场相互作用的单圈“真空”海森堡-欧拉耦合可以在两个光子云的碰撞中导致有趣的集体效应,其时间尺度比根据截面和密度估计的快几个数量级。我们估算了在初始完全极化的云中,正螺旋度到负螺旋度宏观转变的特征时间,以及极化束穿过非极化云时的退极化特征时间。
