电子束骤现产生的相干射电辐射

摘要
我们报道了在望远镜阵列电子光源设施处对电子束骤现产生的相干射电辐射的测量。该辐射由四个独立的射电探测器装置探测到,其灵敏频率范围从 50 MHz 至 12.5 GHz。我们通过将观测结果与模拟比较,表明该现象可理解为相干渡越辐射的特例。这一信号在自然界中的应用体现于穿越不同介质(如空气、岩石和冰)的宇宙射线或中微子诱导粒子级联所发出的辐射。
