Multipole tomography of atomic nuclei with conserved symmetries

摘要

我们引入两体核条件概率,允许定义固有参考系以及角动量J守恒态的多极矩。这使得对J≤1/2的状态进行四极形变表征成为可能,而这些状态通过光谱学单体四极矩无法获得。我们以核密度泛函理论(DFT)计算为例说明该方法,计算¹⁶O和²⁰Ne的J=0态,后者通过恢复伸展或扭曲内在配置的旋转对称性获得。我们展示,两体四极形变表征与从破坏对称态中获得的单体矩不同,主要是由于泡利排斥效应的结果。两体多极矩的计算可以在各种理论框架内进行,但其实验确定需要测量两体相关性。
