NGC 6940星团红巨星的染色辐射

摘要
对NGC 6940星团中红巨星的Ca II H和K线进行观测，允许评估染色层的强度及其行为。该星团中巨星的星际演化过程为人们所熟知。星团中巨星的Ca II线光谱已获取。某些对象表现出发射逆变。染色辐射的绝对通量随有效温度的变化被确定为红巨星分支上的星体。星表面在Ca II线中的通量随的增大而平滑减小，与模型预测相矛盾。
