ChatGPT-4 配合 Code Interpreter 可求解大学初级向量微积分与电磁学问题

摘要
我们评估了 ChatGPT 3.5、4 以及 4 配合 Code Interpreter 在一系列大学工程数学与电磁学问题上的表现，例如常布置给电气工程二年级学生的题目。我们选取了 13 道问题，并让 ChatGPT 每次使用全新实例（对话）多次求解。我们发现，ChatGPT-4 配合 Code Interpreter 在大多数情况下能够令人满意地求解我们所测试的大部分问题——相较不使用 Code Interpreter 的 ChatGPT-4（或 3.5）性能有显著提升。观察到 ChatGPT 的表现具有一定随机性，且我们发现于新的 ChatGPT 实例中将同一问题求解 N 次并取最常见答案为一种有效策略。基于我们的发现与观察，我们为该级别课程的教师与学生提供了若干建议。
