追踪断裂:通过多波段光谱建模刻画黑洞X射线双星喷流的全演化

摘要
黑洞X射线双星(BH XRBs)是研究吸积内流与喷流外流联系的理想目标。本文呈现银河系黑洞系统MAXI J1820+070在2018-2019年爆发期间的准同时多波段观测。我们的数据集涵盖来自17台不同仪器/望远镜的从射电到X射线波段观测,并在7个月时间内包含19个历元,由此成为迄今采样最密集的BH XRB爆发多波段数据集之一。利用该数据,我们汇编并用现象学模型对该源宽带光谱进行建模,该模型包含来自喷流、伴星和吸积流的发射。此建模使我们能追踪喷流光谱中光谱断裂的演化——一个刻画喷流启动区的关键观测量。我们发现该光谱断裂位置在此期间的电磁频率上变化至少约3个数量级。利用这些光谱断裂测量,我们将喷流行为的完整周期(包括上升、淬灭和重新点燃)与源在不同吸积态演化时吸积流性质的变化联系起来。我们的分析显示出与其他处于相似爆发阶段源一致的喷流行为,强化了喷流淬灭与恢复可能是爆发中BH XRB系统的全局特征。我们的结果也为内吸积流几何与喷流基部之间的紧密联系提供了宝贵证据。
