70 GeV pA 相互作用中近阈粲产生

本文展示了在 U-70 加速器(IHEP, Protvino)上进行的 SERP-E-184 实验的结果。通过研究 70 GeV 质子束与 C、Si 和 Pb 靶的相互作用,探测了粲 、、、 介子和 重子在其产生阈值附近的衰变。寿命和质量的测量结果显示与 PDG 数据良好吻合。获得了粲产生的包容截面及其 A 依赖性。将这些粒子的产额与理论预测及其他实验数据进行了比较。在质心碰撞能量 = 11.8 GeV 下,测得的总开粲产生截面( = 7.1 2.3(stat) 1.4(syst) b/nucleon)远高于 QCD 模型预测。在质子-核相互作用中,不同种类的粲粒子对总开粲产生截面的贡献随能量变化。
