原始宇宙射线在肩部以下的电荷相关谱软化

摘要

在大多数粒子加速或扩散理论中,由于加速限制或扩散阶段的变化,宇宙射线谱的特征特征与电荷数相关。或者,交互场景则预期在一般情况下呈现出质量相关的谱特征。由于测量至非常高能量级单个粒子谱的困难,验证哪种关系在自然界中发挥作用仍然缺乏观测数据。本文报告了由暗物质探测器(Dark Matter Particle Explorer)收集的9年在轨数据,对碳、氧和铁谱的直接测量——能量范围为约20吉瓦至100太瓦(铁为约60太瓦)。首次直接检测到这些谱中存在明显的谱软化。结合更新的质子和氦谱,谱软化在约15太瓦刚性处普遍出现。在置信水平超过99.999%的统计显著性下,拒绝了核质量相关软化。本文讨论了可能的解释,包括 nearby 宇宙射线源以及扩散效应等模型。
