导致相对论电子束穿过返回等离子体电流时横向丝化的线性不稳定性,通常与波矢垂直于束流的某种丝化模式相关,或与 Weibel 模式混淆。我们表明,这些模式可能与此无关,并确定双流/丝化分支上最不稳定的模式是丝化的主要触发因素。这设定了在无电阻初始阶段的特征横向和纵向丝化尺度。
