未来 Cherenkov 望远镜阵列 (CTA) 的西班牙合作方已选定一个候选站址，用于 CTA 的北部安装，该站址位于加那利群岛特内里费岛的 Teide 天文台 (OT) 3 公里处。由于 OT 是一个特征非常明确的天文台址，我们在此重点关注 OT 天文台公开可获取的测量数据与在候选站址部署仪器所获数据之间的差异。我们发现候选站址的风力通常较柔和，其背景光水平在 B 波段与 La Palma 的 Roque de los Muchachos 天文台 (ORM) 相当，而在 V 波段仅略高。
