多像素光子计数器对低光水平响应的表征与模拟

摘要

T2K近探测器的量热器、射程探测器和主动靶元件依赖滨松光子多像素光子计数器(MPPC)来探测带电粒子产生的闪烁光。本文报告了在低光水平下对MPPC增益、后脉冲、串扰、暗噪声和光子探测效率的详细测量。为了考虑MPPC行为对T2K物理可观测量的影响,基于这些测量开发了一个模拟程序。该模拟用于预测探测器的能量分辨率。
