Abell 496 的 Chandra 分析

我们报告了使用 Chandra 卫星 onboard 的 S3 芯片对 Abell 496 星团的成像和光谱分析的初步结果。我们确认了冷却流的存在以及元素丰度的径向梯度。该星团的核心呈现出明显的亚结构特征（尖锐边缘、空洞），类似于近期在其他冷却流星团中发现的现象。O/Fe 比率分布表明，该星团核心的气体显著受到单颗超新星爆炸 (SN Ia) 喷射物质的富集。
