星心、超新星与H_0的值

摘要
讨论了使用 HST 对星心变量的观测来校准类型Ia超新星距离的方法。应用新的最大似然校准方法，对来自LMC以及SN Ia主星系NGC5253和IC4182的星心样本建立PL关系。我们的结果表明，星心PL关系的校准对抽样误差以及亮度和周期选择效应都具有较强的鲁棒性。因此，从SN Ia推导H_0估计值的杞人咒量仍是SN Ia光度函数的色散，而非其星心校准中未解决的系统误差。
