电子-反质子等离子体中的离心分离与平衡动力学

摘要

冷的多组分非中性等离子体中的电荷会按质量径向分离,形成离心分离态。本文首次报道了电子-反质子等离子体中此类状态的详细测量,以及任何离心分离系统中分离动力学的首次观测。观测到的平衡态符合预期并与理论一致,但平衡时间在很宽的参数范围内近似恒定,这是一个令人惊讶且尚未得到解释的结果。电子-反质子等离子体在反氢俘获实验中起着至关重要的作用。
