CEERS MIRI成像:数据缩减与质量评估

宇宙演化早期释放科学巡天(CEERS)以Extended Groth Strip河外星系场为观测目标,是JWST主任自由裁量早期释放科学计划之一。迄今所有观测均已执行,包括NIRCam/MIRI成像与NIRSpec/NIRCam光谱曝光。此处我们讨论MIRI成像,其包含八个指向,其中四个使用较蓝波段(F560W、F770W)提供深成像,四个在F1000W、F1280W、F1500W和F1800W具有连续波长覆盖,其中两个还包含F770W和F2100W覆盖。我们给出数据、数据质量与数据缩减的概要。数据缩减基于JWST定标管线并结合定制修改与增强输出质量的附加步骤,包括天体测量改进与探测器伪影去除。我们估计了缩减后马赛克图的成像深度,表明其通常与曝光时间计算器的预期一致。我们将亮源的MIRI F560W与F770W通量密度同Spitzer/IRAC Ch3(5.8 μm)与Ch4(8.0 μm)的测量比较,发现系统差异<0.1 mag。对于较红MIRI波段,我们通过研究银河系恒星的谱能量分布(SED)评估其质量。SED与预期的瑞利-金斯定律一致,偏差~0.03 mag,表明MIRI颜色可靠。我们还讨论了所有公开发布的数据产品(图像与源星表),可在CEERS网站(https://ceers.github.io/)获取。
