2020–2030 年加拿大与 SKA

摘要

这份提交给 2020 年加拿大长期规划过程(LRP2020)的白皮书介绍了 2020–2030 年加拿大与平方公里阵列(SKA)的前景,重点关注计划于下个十年初开始建设的项目第一阶段(SKA1)。SKA1 将在广泛领域中变革我们对宇宙的理解,而加拿大人准备在多个领域中发挥领导作用。加拿大的关键 SKA 技术将确保良好的资本投资回报以及强劲的科学回报,使加拿大天文学为 2030 年之后的未来机遇做好准备。因此,我们主张加拿大在 2020–2030 年间通过参与 SKA1 的建设与运行阶段,持续进行在 SKA 上的科学和技术投入。
