摘要
Scintillating Bubble Chamber(SBC)合作正在设计下一代低背景、贵金属液体气泡探测器,具备亚 keV 核复位阈值。这些实验将气泡腔膜的电子复位盲区与贵金属 Scintillation 能量分辨率相结合,并在比 Freon-based 气泡腔膜在更高程度的超汞(更低的核复位阈值)下维持电子复位鉴别。10-kg 氦液气泡腔膜有望为质为 质量的暗物质核交叉截面设定世界领先的限制,并进行以堆栈中子为高统计率的相干弹性中子-核散射测量。本工作提出了详细的校准计划,用于测量这些实验的探测器响应,将光子中子散射与两种新技术相结合,以亚 keV 核复位诱导:核 Thomson 散射和热中子捕获。
