Rossi X射线计时探测器比例计数器阵列的标定

摘要
我们介绍了Rossi X射线计时探测器(RXTE)上比例计数器阵列(PCA)的标定和背景模型。能量标定在10 keV以下受系统误差限制,对蟹状星云加脉冲星的幂律拟合偏差小于1%。仪器背景中未建模的变化在10 keV以下占观测背景的不到2%,在10到20 keV之间不到1%。单个光子到达时间在整个任务期间精确到4.4微秒,在1997年4月29日之后精确到2.5微秒。五个准直器的峰值指向方向已知精度为几角秒。
