边缘星系的 BVRI 系统标定塔希-费舍尔关系

摘要
从已发表的数据中推导了针对边缘倾斜星系的塔希-费舍尔关系（"绝对星等 - HI 线宽"），其中斜率在 R 和 I 波段尤其接近理论预测的 -10。B、V、R 和 I 波段关系的标准误分别为 0.40、0.36、0.31 和 0.34 星等，对应相对距离误差为 18%、17%、14% 和 16%。边缘倾斜星系的星等似乎是良好的距离指示器。
