LEP 双光子碰撞中的底夸克产生

本文给出了 gammagamma 碰撞中包容性和遍举性底夸克产生的结果。L3 和 OPAL 实验在 LEP II 能量下通过其轻子衰变研究了包容性底夸克产生的总截面。在修正接受度和效率后,平均截面为 sigma_tot = 13.3 +- 1.5 +- 2.3 pb。次领头阶计算比数据低三倍,这对应于超过三个标准偏差的差异。ALEPH 研究了遍举性底夸克产生。在寻找 eta_b 时发现了一个候选事件。提取了 4 和 6 个带电粒子情况下的 Gamma_gammagamma(eta_b)*BR 上限。该候选事件的质量为 9.30 +- 0.04 GeV。
