耀变体对中微子-暗物质散射的约束

摘要
IceCube 望远镜已在耀变体 TXS 0506+056 中观测到与伽马射线相符的中微子发射。来自耀变体的中微子必须穿过环绕中心黑洞的致密暗物质(DM)尖峰。对此类中微子的观测意味着对作为 DM 质量函数的中微子-DM 散射截面的新上限。若截面随能量线性增长,该约束在一系列 DM 质量范围内强于现有约束。对于恒定截面,取决于 DM 尖峰的细节,也可能给出有竞争力的界限。
