黑洞瞬变星体与埃德金亨极限

摘要
我指出，埃德金亨极限意味着存在一个临界轨道周期 P_crit(BH) = 2d，超过此周期，黑洞低质量X射线星体（LMXB）无法作为稳态系统出现。GRO J1655-40 的异常行为可能源于其临近此临界周期。
