硬件安全前沿的基准测试:来自逻辑锁定的经验

集成电路(IC)是所有计算系统的基础。它们包含高价值硬件知识产权(IP),在穿越地理分布的 IC 供应链过程中面临盗版、逆向工程和篡改风险。硬件安全前沿有各种设计可信技术,声称可保护设计流程中不受信任实体带来的威胁。逻辑锁定是一种技术,有望抵御 IC 制造中的各类威胁。本文中,我们对文献中的逻辑锁定技术进行批判性回顾,并揭示若干缺陷。受其他网络安全竞赛启发,我们设计了一项社区主导的基准测试活动以解决评估不足。在反思此过程时,我们揭示了逻辑锁定评估中的新缺陷并指出重要的未来方向。所得经验可指导硬件安全其他领域的未来工作。
