激光线束将成为国际直线对撞机的重要诊断工具。它使用精细聚焦的激光束,通过检测激光束与电子束相交下游的康普顿散射光子(或退化电子)来测量电子束团的横向剖面。该系统已安装在DESY的PETRA储存环上,该装置使用压电驱动镜将激光光斑扫描穿过电子束。本文介绍了最新的实验数据采集结果,并与基于Geant4的程序BDSIM进行的详细模拟进行了比较。
