摘要
分层模型在许多应用中日益普及。随着其使用量的增加，人们希望探究模型是否与观测数据相容。贝叶斯方法非常适合消除这些复杂模型中的众多（干扰）参数；本文研究了用于模型检验的贝叶斯方法。由于我们将模型检验视为一种初步的探索性分析，因此我们专注于客观贝叶斯方法，以避免对信息先验分布进行细致的设定。文中给出了大量实例，并对不同的提议进行了研究和批判性比较。
