重子数违反率作为质子-质子碰撞能量的函数

摘要
重子数违反（BV）在标准电弱模型中会发生。根据Bloch波图像，当质子-质子碰撞质心（COM）能量超过sphaleron势垒高度 时，BV事件率将显著增强。此处我们使用Bloch波能带结构和CT18部分子分布函数数据，并包含相空间抑制因子，比较了不同质心能量下的BV事件率。作为一个例子，25 TeV处的BV截面比13 TeV处的截面大4个数量级。在更高能量下检测概率进一步提高，因为更高能量的事件平均会产生更多同号带电轻子。
