HERA 上光生与深度非弹性 $\boldsymbol{ep}$ 散射中的方位角关联

摘要

利用 HERA 上的 ZEUS 探测器,在质心能量 s=318\sqrt{s}=318 GeV 的高多重数 epep 散射中研究了末态强子的集体行为与多部分子相互作用。测量了带电粒子多重数 Nch20N_{\textrm ch} \geq 20 下的二粒子与四粒子方位角关联,以及多重数、横动量及赝快度分布。二粒子关联对交换光子虚度的依赖清晰地显示了从光生到中性流深度非弹性散射的过渡。在所研究的多重数下,光生过程与中性流深度非弹性散射中的测量均未显示出在 RHIC 和 LHC 的高多重数强子碰撞中所观测到的那种显著集体行为。PYTHIA 预测与光生测量的比较强烈表明,交换光子的强子涨落中存在多部分子相互作用。
