Tevatron上Υ与弱规范玻色子的联合产生

摘要
我们计算了Tevatron上W+Υ和Z+Υ的产生率。我们发现，在质心能量为1.8 TeV时，W+Υ的截面约为450 pb，Z+Υ的截面约为150 pb。主要的产生机制涉及一个色八重态b-反b对束缚成一个P波底偶素态，该态随后衰变为Υ。Υ、W和Z的纯轻子衰变模式提供了背景很小的信号。在Tevatron的Run I中，在考虑探测器接受度和效率之前，纯轻子衰变道中的事件数对于W+Υ应约为500，对于Z+Υ应约为60。我们得出结论，W+Υ事件可能在Run I数据中被观测到。
