ANTARES利用天体物理星表搜寻中微子点源:一种似然堆叠分析

本文给出利用ANTARES探测器在2007年1月29日至2017年12月31日期间采集的数据搜寻天体物理点状中微子源的结果。采用似然堆叠方法评估与一组可能源位置相关的、由缪子中微子诱发径迹状事件过量显著性的程度。分析中测试了不同天体目标集:a) Fermi 3LAC耀变体星表的子样本,b) 喷流遮蔽活动星系核总体,c) 软伽马射线选射电星系样本,d) 恒星形成星系星表,以及 e) IceCube实验的56个甚高能径迹事件公开样本。所测源中无一与ANTARES探测到的中微子样本显著关联。最小p值出现在射电星系星表等权重假设下,其试验前p值相当于 过量,相当于试验后 。此外,还报道了针对耀变体MG3 J225517+2409的专项分析结果:该源在 Fermi 3LAC样本中显著性最高,有5个ANTARES事件位于距该源小于1度处。该耀变体在 Fermi 数据中显示出耀发活动证据,且与IceCube探测到的高能径迹在空间—时间上重合。报道了ANTARES与IceCube数据组合的 后验显著性。
