$\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}}$ = 62 和 200 GeV Au-Au 碰撞中双粒子角关联的反常中心度演化

我们展示了 sNN=62\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}} = 62 和 200 GeV Au-Au 碰撞中带电粒子的二维 (2D) 双粒子角关联(关于相对赝快度 η\eta 和方位角 ϕ\phi),其横动量 pt0.15p_t \geq 0.15 GeV/ccη1|\eta| \leq 1 且方位角覆盖 2π2\pi。观测到的关联包括一个同侧(相对方位角 <π/2< \pi/2)2D 峰、一个密切相关的对侧方位偶极子,以及一个通常与椭圆流相关联的方位四极子。在质子-质子和边缘核-核碰撞中,同侧 2D 峰和对侧偶极子可通过半硬部分子散射与碎裂(微喷流)来解释。在 Au-Au 碰撞中,这些结构遵循 N-N 二元碰撞标度,直到中等中心度时,在一个很小的中心度区间内发生向定性不同的中心度趋势的转变。在转变点之上,同侧和对侧关联对的数量相对于二元碰撞标度迅速增加,同侧 2D 峰的 η\eta 宽度也迅速增加(η\eta 拉长),而 ϕ\phi 宽度实际上显著减小。与稠密介质中喷流淬灭的预期相比,这些中心度趋势更为显著。我们将观测到的中心度趋势与 {\sc hijing} 预测以及热化不透明介质中半硬部分子散射与碎裂的预期趋势进行了比较。我们无法将观测到的关联结构和中心度趋势的半硬部分子散射与碎裂起源,与涉及部分子快速热化的重离子碰撞情景相协调。另一方面,如果碰撞系统对几 GeV 的部分子实际上是不透明的,则本文报告的观测结果将与微喷流图像不一致。
