摘要
我们认为，已有的关于图的模分解（modular decomposition）与 2-结构的 clan 分解的知识，可在数据分析的背景下被有利地加以利用。我们展示了如何通过对与数据集相关联的（可能是广义的）盖夫曼图（Gaifman graphs）运用这些分解，来获得共现模式的可视化描述。我们既提供了将这些所提过程与其他数据挖掘方面（即闭集挖掘）相联系的理论进展，也提供了已实现的算法，并由此产生了一个展示我们方法开源工具。
