通过天体测量微透镜效应探测到的一颗孤立恒星级黑洞

摘要

我们报告了首次明确探测并测量了一颗孤立恒星级黑洞 的质量。我们使用哈勃空间望远镜 对朝向银河系凸起方向的长持续时间(tE270t_E \sim 270 天)、高放大率微透镜事件 MOA-2011-BLG-191/OGLE-2011-BLG-0462(以下简称 MOA-11-191/OGLE-11-462)的源星进行了精确的天体测量。在六年时间跨度内的八个历元进行的 HST 成像揭示了背景星视位置的清晰相对论天体测量偏转。MOA-11-191/OGLE-11-462 的地基测光显示了地球运动对微透镜光变曲线影响的视差特征。结合 HST 天体测量、地基光变曲线和推导出的视差,我们获得了透镜质量为 7.1±1.37.1 \pm 1.3 MM_\odot,距离为 1.58±0.181.58 \pm 0.18 kpc。我们表明该透镜不发出可探测的光,加上其质量高于白矮星或中子星的可能质量,证实了其黑洞性质。我们的分析还提供了该黑洞的绝对自行运动。该自行运动与类似距离处银河系盘恒星的平均运动存在偏移,偏移量对应于约 45 km/s 的横向空间速度,表明该黑洞在其超新星爆发时受到了一次“natal kick”。先前对恒星级黑洞的质量测定来自于银河系 X 射线双星的视向速度测量,以及外部星系中双星系统合并黑洞发射的引力辐射。我们的质量测量是使用任何技术对孤立恒星级黑洞进行的首次测量。
