对51 Pegasi亮伴星的干涉测量搜索

摘要
我们报告了利用帕洛马测试干涉仪(Palomar Testbed Interferometer)对51 Pegasi进行近红外、长基线干涉测量搜索亮伴星的结果。我们的数据与单星假设完全一致。我们未发现任何表明51 Pegasi存在亮伴星的证据，并在光谱测量所指示的4.2天轨道周期的99%置信水平下，排除了比ΔK亮4.27等的伴星。该ΔK对应于伴星绝对星等M_K的上限7.30，进而意味着主序伴星质量小于0.22 M_☉。
