赤外亚声响:来自氢和氦贫乏超新星 2024aecx 盘状星际介质的观测

摘要
我们报告对氢和氦贫乏(类型Ic)超新星(SN)2024aecx 的近红外(NIR)光谱观测,发现其在峰值后32天出现强烈的NIR超标。SN 2024aecx 是一种异常的类型Ic超新星,曾在早期显示发达的冲击冷却辐射,这暗示其周围有近距离的星际介质(CSM),这在这类超新星中并不常见。其早期NIR光谱虽符合类型Ic标准,但呈现强烈的CI吸收特征。约在峰值后32天,光谱显示出强烈的NIR超标,而光学颜色保持正常,这在类型Ic超新星中前所未有。我们发现NIR超标可由单温度、准无限稀薄尘埃模型贴合,其中温度下降、质量增加且光度大致保持恒定。NIR超标出现得比尘埃在超新星气体中形成要及时得多,这表明是来自CSM中预-existing尘埃的红外回声。该红外回声可能由相对缓慢演化的超新星峰值光度驱动,而非短暂的冲击冷却辐射,因为后者需要不切实际的高CSM密度才能解释观察到的尘埃质量。我们考虑了各种可能的CSM几何形状,发现厚的面向观察的盘状结构(内缘约为 cm)能最好地解释尘埃质量和温度演化。在此情形下,超新星冲击波应在爆炸后天与该CSM发生相互作用。CSM包围类型Ic超新星罕见地出现,后续观测将探讨负责消除其前体星体氢和氦的质量损失过程。
