杰斐逊实验室高占空比极化与未极化正电子束的实验计划

摘要

极化与未极化的正电子束被认定为下一代轻子加速器实验计划的关键要素。在杰斐逊实验室(JLab)的强子物理计划背景下,正电子束是精确理解核子与原子核在弹性和深度非弹性区电磁结构所必需的补充工具,甚至是不可或缺的工具。例如,极化与未极化电子和正电子对核子的弹性散射,可实现对其电磁形状因子的模型无关确定。此外,极化与未极化电子和正电子的深度虚散射,可明确分离轻子产生光子和轻子对截面的不同贡献,从而精确确定核子与原子核的广义部分子分布,并提供对引力形状因子的获取途径。再者,正电子束通过搜寻暗光子、精确测量电弱耦合以及研究带电轻子味破坏,为粒子物理标准模型的替代检验提供了可能。本文讨论了 JLab 高占空比正电子束实验计划的前景。
