围绕近邻K型恒星的轨道周期为5.4小时的地球大小行星

摘要

我们报告了发现和确认 ultra-short period (USP) 行星 TOI-2431 b,其围绕一颗距离约36 pc的近邻late K星 (TeffT_{\mathrm{eff}} = 4109±28K4109 \pm 28 \, {\rm K}) 运行。该行星周期为5小时22分钟,是目前已知最短周期的系外行星之一。TOI-2431 b的半径为 1.536±0.033R1.536 \pm 0.033\, \rm{R_\oplus},质量为 6.2±1.2M6.2 \pm 1.2\, \rm{M_\oplus},表明其密度符合地球式成分,由于高辐射,可能为‘熔岩世界’,其平衡温度为 2063±30K2063 \pm 30 \, {\rm K}。我们估计当前轨道周期仅比洛oche极限轨道周期大30%,其预期轨道衰减 timescale 仅约31 Myr。最终,由于宿主星光亮 (V=10.9V = 10.9K=7.6K = 7.6) ,TOI-2431 b具有 Emission Spectroscopy Metric 为27,成为最佳USP系统之一,适用于大气相位曲线分析。
