角分微开尔文成像仪 (AMI) 在 2008 年至 2011 年间通过其 Sunyaev-Zel'dovich 效应递减对星系团进行了盲巡天。首个已知为 AMI-CL J0300+2613 的探测目标已使用配备新型高动态范围数字相关器的 AMI 进行了重新观测。新 AMI 数据与近期高分辨率亚毫米和红外地图的结合现在显示,该特征实际上是一个正尘埃相关的银河系发射环,很可能是反常微波辐射 (AME)。如果是这样,这将是首次在角分尺度上完全盲测发现 AME。
