太阳系中存在大量磁重联的证据,但从等离子体粒子与电磁场的原位测量中可视化、确定恰当的研究途径与参考系,进而阐明重联区起作用的物理过程,是一项非平凡的任务。本文概述了一系列单航天器与多航天器数据分析技术,这些技术对揭示空间磁重联原位观测的背景,以及探测并分析离子和/或电子发生退磁的扩散区至关重要。我们聚焦于 Magnetospheric Multiscale 任务时代的最新进展,该任务已对地球磁层内外磁重联进行了电子尺度、多点测量。
