处于“啸叫”态的磁化中子星的吸积

摘要
我们使用轴对称阻性磁海体力学模拟研究了处于“啸叫”态的旋转磁化恒星的球对称吸积。该态被预测在磁心半径大于旋转共轨半径且小于光柱半径时发生。模拟显示,吸积物从磁针的赤道区域被排出,并以超声速、盘状外流形式远离恒星。较大径向距离处,外流减慢并变为亚声速。赤道吸积物外流最初由离心力驱动,但在较大距离处压力梯度力变得显著。我们计算了伯恩吸积率中最终吸积到恒星表面的比例。
